I am logged in as an admin but I am still getting a permissions error when trying to view a catalog/details page

According to the permissions hierarchy (visitor > user > bidder > admin) you must ALSO be a registered bidder in order to view a catalog/lot details page. If you register the admin account for the auction, you will be able to access those pages.
