Must complete before: How to Integrate your SAM installation into AIM
After you integrate SAM into AIM it kicks off a sync between the two systems.
All of the Custom Fields and Categories that are entered into your SAM account will be brought over into the AIM system.
To check the import of those fields you can go to "My Companies" in the menu on the Web version of AIM.
On the company that you want to look at hit the "Actions" dropdown and choose "Attributes & Categories"
Scroll down to see the Categories section.
Here is the process on how to create your categories.

Each of your SAM custom fields will be in the Company Attributes section. They will each be labeled "Custom Field from SAM:" and will not be editable.
If you scroll down you will see all of your Categories in the "Category" section dropdown.

Updating your Custom Fields and Categories
To update your custom fields or categories go into your SAM installation and add them in from there. Refresh your integration credentials for SAM to kick off another import.
